Thunderstorms are thunder strikes a lightning bolt thru the air it,s blue can be white after the light hits the loud sound of thunder as it makes a rumble sound. The brighter or the closer it gets the louder it gets. When you see big black clouds or it starts hailing that's when you know it could be coming. If you hold something metal up in the air it will shock the meal that you are holding and may kill you  if it gets shocked.
